I have always loved the look of an MP5. It is by far my favorite weapon. The HK94 kit looks absolutely amazing. I will build one sometime for sure.
If you want to get the full benefir of having a longer barrel, you will have to change the mechbox cylinder. It would be ideal to have as much compression as possible. A higher velocity spring would also be beneficial.
Systema type '0' cylinder
Metal bushings (choose what brand)
Spring (SP100, PDI 150%, PDI 170%, M100, M120 etc)
Also, when having a higher velocity spring, a systema silent set would be a good idea. The piston head will smack the cylinder head pretty hard with an upgraded spring. Overtime, i would imagine the stock mechbox would get a hairline crack.
It all depends on how much you want to spend. The way i see it is- You spend $500 just making the gun metal, HK94 conversion barrel etc. Why not spend the extra bit of cash to make it a really great AEG?
