I don't have a higher quality camera with me right now, but tonight I'll post some high resolution pictures of the damage.

In short I broke off 3 pieces, two of them being plastic on plastic (considering your suggestion of epoxy or JB weld) and the other one (the piece that screws onto the flash hider or silencer) is metal on metal.

I'm not too concerned with the plastic parts, because they're not responsible for holding the inner barrel stable, but the metal one is a huge issue.

Here are the pictures:

http://img525.imageshack.us/img525/5...ture065pu1.jpg The inner barrel is exposed immediately when I remove the hand guard.

http://img519.imageshack.us/img519/1...ture066qs1.jpg The part that connects to the silencer and etc. (Notice how the broken plastic supports are still screwed into it)

http://img404.imageshack.us/img404/3...ture067ga7.jpg Same as before see that silverish line on the metal part? thats where it snapped off.

http://img519.imageshack.us/img519/7...ture068fe7.jpg To put things into perspective, I can freely move this piece up and down the inner barrel

http://img528.imageshack.us/img528/8...ture069lw2.jpg I slid the broken piece down

*** EDIT ***

This will give you a much better idea of what I'm dealing with:
