it works like this.

There are factories in china.

the CYMA/JG factory*, the Both elephant factory, WELL factory and a bunch of shitty factories.

Then Firepower, UTG, TSD, Cybergun, Echo 1 buy from these factories, sometimes they don't always buy from the same one, other times (like shitty cybergun) will buy ALL the guns and sell them as their own. Sometimes the same gun is sold by many different rebranders. The UTG MP5, the TSD MP5, the Crosman Pulse whatever, the matrix MP5, the firepower MP5, the kraken MP5 are all WELL Mp5s. THEY ARE EXACTLY THE SAME GUN WITH DIFFERENT TRADES PRINTED ON THEM AND SOMETIMES CLEAR)

Then you have cases were both the rebrander sells the gun and the original manufacturer. Firepower sells an XM8, which is a rebrand of the BE XM8, but BE sells there XM8 directly too, they are the same gun. Firepower, aftermath and TSD will sometimes order special clear guns, they are also the same gun, just no dye added to the plastic. (these guns are usually crap regardless of opaqueness) (CYMA 028 = Kraken, they just ordered clear ones from cyma)

Cyma sells there post 027 stuff directly, but all their springers and old LPEGs are still eaten up by these rebranders and sold as shit everywhere. That MP7 I bought it likely just a rebranded CYMA. Echo 1 isn't always JG/cyma stuff either. The Echo 1 MP5k is actually the galaxy Mp5k, which I have no idea where galaxy fits in.

There are a lot less airsoft manufacturers out there than brands.

*(Cyma and JG have family ties in the ownership)
