I don't get why the cops have to take your cap guns for? And also dummy hand grenades? It's in your property. Not like you will threat someone with it. You can say it was for display. How many fucking hunters have replica rifles on their walls? Even bullets!
Tell the judge this. Also speak to your surplus owner and get him to right a document that you got the hand grenade from there.
If I was in your position. I would've told my parents that's bullshit of what they took, other than a little 360.
