I guess my biggest concern between the G3SG1 and the 416 is if it will still be viable at ranged shots as the 416. I believe houses a smaller battery (n00bish I know) might night get the same umf out of it.

I should add I'm a bit rushed to buy into the sport as I have some $ that the wife is sure to find out about shortly and try to get me to spend on a trip to cuba. I've been working the airsoft route for a while with her but as a former Yogoslavian she's a bit reluctant to have even airsoft in the house.
