When I started, I thought exactly the same as you do.

After a week of searching US airsoft retailer websites, I have come to my own conclusion rather quickly that THEY have already specified that they will NOT ship to Canada, because Canada does not allow importation of airsoft guns.

Simple, isn't it? You don't even need to go through all those trials and errors, because they won't ship anyways.
