m4/handgun rails
Hello All,
I know there is a minor difference between a pictany rail and a weaver rail. But what is the difference between an underbarrel handgun rail and the above two? So are accessories that I put on my Hi-Capa comaptible with my M4?

Maybe this should be in the noob section.
But why cant the laser I bought, that fit perfectly into my m4 rail, fit on my hi-Capa? Its clearly not wide enough..

Because all rails aren't created equal. Not only are the widths and bevel angles of different rails sometimes different...there's sometimes a cross slot spacing difference. The distance slot to slot...and the depth of the slots can vary.
***also...that laser might have been meant for a specific mount...although most common ones are meant for 20mm weaver rails. |
