Crosman Pulse R76 Stock Warning
I've had an R76 (the AKS-74U with the hideous tri-rail mount) as a plinker for about 2 months. Last week, I flicked open the stock, as usual, and the ring base snapped. The ring attaching the stock to the post, and therefore the rest of the gun cracked in half. I just figured that I'd warn all of you to be careful opening the stocks on R76s.

definatly is an ak-47 spetsnaz - aks-74u has the straighter mag typical in the 74 series (cause the smaller rounds I guess) and has a SLIGHTLY different stock

The body may be shit, but it's full TM compatible. So there is potential if you want stuff replaced.

it's not a 74 it's a AK47s with a short front end, look at the body, yes the stock is made of pot metal but if you have the release button etc. still intact, you can buy another cheap replacement one (also pot metal) from ebaybanned

but for green-horns like me, it's a good learning tool - I'm not going to worry about breaking it while taking it apart and seeing what's what

I got my R76 2 weeks before getting my VSR10 and my stock had the exact same problem. I was wondering if anyone knew of any solid stock that would work on the gun?
