Need opinions and answers

This was my first thread.

http://www.airsoftcanada.com/showthr...t=91090&page=2

My friend had ordered the Army of Two Masks frm the Cactus Hobbies site. It seems the person (there are many names I would like to call them) running the site has been taking peoples money and not sending out masks to paying customers.

We have found the masks we need on evike.com now I understand evike pacages genrally have a huge duty fee with them. Is that just on airsoft parts or masks and the like aswell?

I just want to know before I order regardless though I am ordering them tomorrow with the fastest shipping possible. I just need an idea of how much i will be spending.

Its on all purchased goods coming into the country. If you stay below the limit though (usually if my order is less than $100) they won't charge you duties.

However, I wouldn't buy from Evike. Their shipping charges are generally very expensive (overly so). And their service is extremely poor. You have to email for a shipping quote as well, as they do not give you standardized options for international shipping in their checkout menu.

Info on duties and taxes when importing:

When it comes to evike all I have ever heard is horror stories of insane shipping costs and brokerage fees due to the use of crappy two faced over charging shipping companies like UPS, and tales of poor customer service and bad communication.

There are other better retailers out there to obtain your army of two masks from.

True, Evike really is CRAP. As said before, their shipping fees are ridiculous.

The mask on the left is from Evike. As you can see, there is a missing cushing in it.

When I spoke with them, they decided to send me the cushion and that it was my problem to fix it to the mask...

Also, beware of imitations for those Ao2 masks...

Well then I will have to keep the orders under $100.00 by doing them separatly then.

Do you have some links by any chance, I dont really mind where I get them from, but time is a major factor here, I need them asap.

I was even contemplating a flight doown to Michigan (Catus Hobbies) but after the fiasc that has been I wont do business with them.

So yes, if anyone has any links to websites that sell both variants, the skull and the one with flames, please let me know.

Here are a few to get you started.

Ehobby asia. These guys kinda knuckle drag when it comes to shipping your item but they do usually get it out with in 4-5 days of your payment.
http://shop.ehobbyasia.com/

Ebaybanned. I personally dont use them because they are usually extremely slow to ship an item and its been noted that they sometimes have crap communication. Worst comes to worst you file a pay pal claim if they screw you over. However they do have free shipping. I guess you get what you pay for.

Theres RSOV. Even though the majority of what they sell is low end garbage they do have the style of mask you are looking for. Their shipping can be somewhat expensive.

There is airsoft global. I usually have great communication with them, and they do ship the item very quickly. Shipping can be expensive depending on what you choose.

All these retailers are based in asia and they were all googled for you in under 2 minutes.

I have not ordered from all, as stated in my initial post, I do not deal with ebaybanned. Although I do know people who have dealt ebaybanned and others like RSOV and ehobby and for the most part have been satisfied.

As far as airsoft global goes, when I order from them I usually get the quickest shipping that is reasonable. They are usually extremely quick and with getting the parcel out to fedex or EMS or whomever they send it with. I have never had an issue. I'm assuming the same thing with RSOV, although I cannot guarantee it.

Dont forget to check out ebay.ca to see if you can maybe even find something in country.
