Hi I'm new to this forum and i was wondering just for my backyard target practice would this be a good gun?? Is it legal? are there legal colors like UK has to let you buy them without a license? If so could you post them??

This isn't the UK, this is Canada, our laws are different.

Those are illegal to import, and if you want something for backyard Target practice, pick up a .177 air-rifle from Canadian Tire. They are about 500% more accurate than an airsoft gun.

Canada does not have the same set up as UK with UKARA. The only thing similar on the topic of color is that any airsoft gun being imported into Canada must have a tinted clear receiver. However sourcing one from outside the country with a tinted clear reciever is a little harder than you would think. However we have plenty of retailers in country who have them in stock.

You will find many answers to question you will have in our frequently asked questions section.

It is legal
For your "Back Yard Target Practice" decent
No, Canada doesn't have the twotone law like the U.K.

Bottem line, get age verified and buy a gun off of the classifieds, buy a gun off a Cad retailer that sells CANsoft or buy the gun, cry when it brakes.

It's a much better idea to get something like a CX-4 or a Nightstalker if you're going to be plinking in the backyard.

It's so much more accurate and cheaper to boot. Compare a $1000 airsoft "sniper rifle" to a $200 air rifle. They get about the same accuracy so which would you rather buy? Heck even a $400 Airsoft rifle doesn't get the same accuracy as a $100 air rifle.

Bottom line: Backyard plinking, Air Rifle. gaming and actually playing airsoft then an airsoft gun.

LOL, isnt this the same gun that other noob was looking for magazines for?

250fps is a joke and not decent for backyard shooting at all, you want something accurate for shooting targets, get a pellet gun, airsoft is not the same thing

also, it isn't clear so therefore not legal to import, don't listen to people that don't know what theyre talking about.
