folding stock on AK
Hi everybody !
Right now I have a stockless AK but I realized I really need/want a folding stock. Since the receiver is plastic, I realize I can't really put a heavy metal/steel stock. So my two options are : I buy a TM AK47S receiver and stock (seems hard to find, couldnt find one) or I buy a metal receiver and add a Romanian folding stock (again, seems really hard to find). the first one is probably cheaper but in my mind seems more common as they are stock TM parts, while the other one would be pretty expensive. Any thoughts ? |

Yeah I saw that, but that stock wasnt my first choice and also I wanted to keep my wooden pistol grip but now it seems like a good idea, will look into it.

I used to have one it has it's own trunnion and fits over the existing tangs on the receiver. It is slightly longer than the average AK stock.

If by average AK stock you mean the TM sized one that is undersized anyways.

If you want I'll sell you my metal body with steel Romanian stock on it.
I've put a bunch of work into it to make the stock fit perfectly and a mechbox and top cover fit. PM me. |
