Looking for hfc 134a
Hi guys been searching more for this green gas thing cause I have a GBBR KJW.
the kjw will give a fps of around 450 which is not allowed indoor, but by using HFC134a gas it shoots around 320fps as what I have read in some forums and even posted on some retailer store. Anyway if your looking here in winnipeg manitoba there is one that is selling those, at tip top electronics at st. james just look it up in the internet. |

Correct me if I'm wrong, I believe the HFC 134a is duster gas. There are adapters for sale on some retail sites.

Are you looking for some?
Or telling people where to find some? Very confusing. |

Indeed...apparently the last part of the post didn't even register in my mind.

The Source has em...500mL for like 13$
not cheap, don't use it unless you have to because your gun is too fragile etc. |

Source has a lot of duster, but it's not 134a (tetrafluoroethane). It's really hard to find it and it generally not available to the public, as it's the stuff you can get high off of. The stuff that Source and other stores sell is trifluoroethane, and it's corrosive to rubber. Using that in an airsoft gun will eat your seals.

I think he's talking about the new TK KJW GBBR.
The Source (Radio Shack) does have Tetra duster...it's in the blue/white cans...the one by work usually has it in the electronics section (i.e. with the switches/leds/diodes). Freaking expensive...$20/can Fellows and Grand & Toy (yellow...and green/white cans respectively) are not tetra. |

Specialized camera stores usually carry 134a duster since cameras have what are considered ignition sources (flashes etc): 134a is non-flammable, but difluoroethane and trifluoroethane are both very flammable.

Ugh.. Ok.. Early morning, pre-coffee, foggy brain. Now sure where I got a KJW M9 in that original post. I stand corrected. I need to go back to bed. lol And I've never seen 134a gas available anywhere at retail in a couple of years now, including The Source. I've always ordered mine online.
