Battery sound while charging!!?!
Sup all, first I've done a little research on here.
I've started charging a 3300mAh 8.6V battery, then after an enought long time, I've heard a toc from the battery, I then disconnected it even if the charger wasn't stating green, after unpluging it I was hearing tic tic's annd stomach's like sounds in it, it seems okay as there's still power in it, but did I blow something ?! |

If the sound is coming form the battery its because electricity is arcing (like lightning) from a metal or soder point to the battery. This in itself isn't too dangerous however eventually it make lead to the battery failing. If I where you I would visit cheapbatterypacks.com and grab a new battery right away.
Again I said this isn't "too" dangerous however there is a possible fire hazard here.

It was warm, not that much hot, it's almost new, gamed it like 4 times. Everything seems fine, the 1400 mah charged well with no problem after. The 3300 was bought on batteryjunction by mid august. Thanks for your tips, it stopped making sounds now.

Is it by chance a Tenergy battery?
Because those are utter crap that I wouldn't trust to touch with a 10 foot pole. |
