I get amazing accuracy and I don't wash my BB's... maybe I should start and see what happens!

it's not THAT big of a deal.

the increase in accuracy will be higher only if the BB itself is coated rather heavily with silicone.

I washed both rubber and BB(It was BB Bastards).

Accuracy/consistency improved significantly.

Good to know. My experience for saying such is that I've played in dusty sandpits before and gotten jamming after a while because the hop up rubber gets covered in dust from my mags (climbing sand dunes at 45deg or more really sucks). Also, seen and fixed too many rental guns at games that plugged up, drop some oil in the loading tube and fire, clears it right up. Figured dry hop up breech was the problem, hence the BBs being dry in a gun too would be a bad thing, at least for full auto shots. My rifles and ammo I never use any oil in the barrel or hop up, and make the entire feed path as smooth as possible. I love the consistancy I get though.

Ah that would make sense.

The biggest factor we have to deal with around here is mud lol... Thank god there's no sand around here.
