Special part crafting
Hello people.
I have a question : do someone know a place where I could get some special parts builded ? I've had a few projects pending and I would like to build some parts I need that don't exist anywhere but on my HDD. The parts are suppose to be metal and nylon fiber and I live in Montreal so it would be nice to have near me. Thank you |

Not very many places I know and it wouldn't be cheap at all.
The best way would be to ask someone you know who has a CNC machine. I'm assuming that your parts are drawn in some sort of CAD format eg. AutoDesk software or SolidWorks. Applied Science (Engineering) departments might have them but I doubt you'll get any time or be allowed access to them. Millwrights (from trade schools) might be able to do it for you but then again it boils down to how much money you have and how complicated your design is.

I designed the parts on SolidWorks 2008. I'm not very familiar with industrial processing though.
The parts could be done by CNC but they can also be molded for mosst of them. |

custom pieces will cost you arms and legs no? You can try to ask gun docs , especially those who mentions "Can customize"
