Compatability between AEG and KJW M4 GBB barrel

Hello;

I just need some quick help here. I just bought the KJW M4 GBBR. I just need to know if an AEG inner barrel would work with this gun. And if so, is there a specific brand that I need to buy or would any brand work? (I want to get a longer, tightbore barrel for it)

I know its sort of a noob question but I would be greatful for any assistance that can be provided.

From what I have heard ,no. But, a buddy has modded a aeg barrel and has had pretty good results.

If you pull out your barrel ,and compare it to an aeg ,you will see the cut needed for the hopup rubber and how much to grind off the back of it.

There are a couple after market barrels out there now.I'm waiting on t_hum over at http://cradleairsoft.com/Cradle_Airsoft/About.html to come out with his.
