Shooter Design USP Slide

Does anyone here have or installed before a Shooter Design USP Slide?
For the rear sights how do you install it? It wouldn't fit, and I tried to sand off the rear sights. It help pushing in...and up as well so its not leveled. I had to use a rubber hammer to do it. And the force I applied was so much in the end a end of the rear sight gave up and chip apart.

Any one knows how to install it? This is the first time I encouter a installation that doesn't fit like it should.

I'm pretty sure that it is normal that the rear sight is tight on here. I can't really remember how I did with mine(Don't have it anymore), but I think that I used a rubber hammer as well.

What slide and what system? Like all GBB, you are supposed to take the BBU out, and hammer the sight in from the side, and the BBU screws into the bottom of the rear sight....

I've done 2 USP slides so far and both went in pretty much as drop in part. The Rear sight does NOT slide in, but it should not need any filing, as much like RS its almost a press fit.

well if thats the case I'll give it a try, but first I need to source a replacement rear sights. If not Im gonna have to use an actual USP one and modify the screw. Anyone knows where can I source a replacement rear sights?
so far I've only see KWAUSA, but they arent exactly cooperative

With some mod(ie material removable and some drilling) you can fit a RS sight. Though some works better than others(fitting adjustable Meprolight Tritium USP tactical sight was NOT recommended, believe me I tried). But regular non-adjustable one seems to be easier...if not I think KWA despite the hassle might be easier than trying to get spares from KSC...

Alternatively, maybe try contacting RA-T, who might be able to get spares from the KSC Taiwan....

Hey Kullwarrior, I've ordered a lot of USP parts from KWAUSA. You just need to get in contact with a real customer rep and ask him to ship the parts to Canada himself. He was pretty helpful in getting all the parts that I needed. I'll PM you the address of the KWAUSA employee that helped me.

If that doesn't work for you. Contact Tirador (I forget his ASC name but I think I have his address), he can get parts from Taiwan.
