Vsr tightbore

I've been trying to find a 430mm length tightbore for a TM vsr pro. It's going to be used in conjunction with a PSS10 chamber so I need an AEG barrel. I've been doing a lot of searching.. but I just don't know where to look.

why does it have to be exactly 430mm? Just get one that's close
Check ehobbyasia or redwolfairsoft
Buy a prometheus 6.03 tightbore, they're the BEST

Ya, get one that is longer and either cut, clean and deburr it yourself, or get a machinist to do it for you. Is quite easy, as long as you pay attention to what you are doing.

X-Fire = PDI

Laylax = Prometheus/Nineball

PSS10 is a Laylax product

my bad as the last one was not an AEG barrel, Below is the one that Prometheus officially recommends to be used in VSRs with their PSS10 chamber:

433mm Type 89/VSR barrel

The PSS10 hopup chamber needs a AEG barrel, You can file the inside of it if your in a pinch to fit the regular barrels. Alot easier to find a proper barrel if you have time, and patience.

Anywhere I can get a 6.01 aeg tightbore long enough? It would have to be around 430mm in length.

Go for a 6.03mm, apparently it's more accurate/consistant than 6.01mm. Nutshell, more consistant airflow around the BB causing less 'touching' of the BB on the inner walls.

I've heard that same theory before.. and I've also heard people say to just go for 6.01 for best accuracy.. I guess I'll just have to decide.

On a side note, .36 good bb wieght for 450fps?

6.01 is best for that extra little FPS for places like the Philippines where they run extremely hot guns.. 6.05 is the best for accuracy, 6.03 is a very nice middle point

The most important thing for accuracy is the consistency of the cut, it is is 100% truely 6.0300 all the way through the barrel it will be much better than a barrel that goes 6.0300-6.0399 fluctuating throughout the barrel.

Oh ok, I thought 6.01 meant better accuracy. I think I'll go with 6.03

Hell, all last year I ran my M24 at 400fps with 0.20g, and I only used 0.36g Bastards. So yes. Lol
