Dude, you really need to go to an airsoft game and check out some equipment. HOLD each G36, look at the brands people play with, and THEN purchase. I went to ASCA to buy my first airsoft gun, a FA-MAS, and ended up coming home with a G36. Holding a gun makes a world of difference to your decision.

LIPO ready means that the gearbox and other components has been reinforced to withstand the use of high voltage and high power batteries of up to 11.1 volts and can consequently be used at high ROF. Using high power LIPO in a non LIPO ready gun would create too much stress on some parts and could cause failures.

The biggest difference between Lipo and non-Lipo in simple terms is how much power is readily available (more amperage per say). A regular battery provides about 22, where a lipo is 50, a typical airsoft motor draws around 32. Hence why a non-lipo battery typically heats up and drains faster then a lipo does as the motors is working harder on less available amperage. There a huge write up here on ASc about Lipo's with a link to a great review on them. Best to read up there first before giving out false information. |

What false information are you refering to ? I didn't say LIPO is more voltage but LIPO is more power. In electricity, voltagexamps=watts and LIPO has more wattage. |

Ya lipo ready is a sales pich and not much more, if your ready for a m120 spring then its ready to take some strain! For those worried about there internals and still want a lipo all you need is a MarkIII trigger master and you can lower the ROF. Along with the soft start feature you'll be good.
