M4 selector switch
Hi,
I recently painted my clear lower, both from the inside and the outside. Before you say it's stupid, I know, I tried to keep the trademarks. Didn't work, but now I ran in a new problem. This week, I changed a few things in my gearbox, pretty much new piston, new piston head, new cylinder head, new spring, new spring guide, regrease and reshim. Now that my gearbox is assembled, I have a question. When you slide in the gearbox into the lower, where should the selector be? Safe, Semi, Auto? How does that means on the selector plate itself, totally to the left, middle or fully right? Anyway, I did slide the gearbox in the lower without really noticing where the selector was at. But now, the selector switch doesn't lock in place, doesn't click. The trigger is on Safe even when the selector switch is on Semi. But if I go just a bit between semi and auto, the trigger is free. (Don't know if it shoots semi OR auto, motor is not yet installed) Did I make a mistake somewhere explaining this? Thank you very much for your help!

selector on semi...selector plate in the middle-ish
Once the mechbox is in (before you put all the pins in) you should be able to move the selector and see the plate go forward and back. |
