Unplug it before you go to class...

When you're back...read up and then charge it.

Cool

Hi there,

I had a similar question, which I asked my retailer.

The charger that came with your rifle(I have the same type of rifle) isn't a SMART charger - that means, it won't stop charging the battery till you unplug it...

Soooooooooooo....

Always keep an eye on the thing, and don't forget about it. Think of it as cooking strew and you have left the stove on. I was told to charge about 2hrs to 2.5hrs. But for myself I got a SMART charger to be safe....

i believe that the cansoft version of ICS comes with ni-cad batteries. You need to discharge these suckers because if you dont, your battery wont last that long. Buy a discharger or just buy NiMh batteries.

toss that charger in the garbage and goto your local RC shop and pic up a peak charger for $50 or so

then you have no worries about charging

Never leave a battery charging while you're not at home.

Also, don't worry too much about memory effect. It's nearly eliminated in modern Ni-Cad batteries. A good charger will take care of it.
