gun fires in semi-automatic only

I tore down my CA MP5 SD version 2 gearbox the other day to upgrade to a M120 spring. My gun only fires in semi automatic now. I need help to get it back to firing on both semi and full.

Sounds to me like a selector plate issue. You might have put the gearbox too far in the back, preventing the selector plate to reach the full auto position.

Try to have only the gearbox and the motor grip in place (with motor) and then try manually to switch position, and dry fire it with the gearbox in hand only.
