Well the VSR bolt ruins the fun by looking out of place. I'd rather have a netting around the chamber and empty shells into a dump bag whenever i get a chance.
And if the objective was to make the spring k98 into a gas one, then its much easily accomplished by a premade gas bolt than modding heavily to fit a vsr mechanism. |

Don't forget that you are also stuck with the shitty hop-up as well as the two piece inner barrel and the shell's poor airseal... which still equates to a lousy rifle. The stock VSR internals are by far superior to the gas d-boys kar-98 internals in terms of performance and reliability.
The VSR handle can be made into a KAR98 one, except it is slightly more complicated. The VSR handle has to be modified with a more radical approach (you have to saw off the end of the VSR handle and replace it by the Kar-98 one by welding it in place).
