KJW Glock 23 problem - please help

Hi guys,

so i have KJW glock 23 that needed a minor repair. the cylinder srping came off the gun (its part number 11 in the diagram)

i also needed a new mag (cause the only one i had was leaking) so i figured i would drop it off at a retailer and have him fix the gun and also purchase a new mag.

he said that i needed to leave the gun with him which i thought was a little strange because it should be really quick to put the spring back in. but i figured that he had to order the mag anyways and that i could just pick up the gun when mag came in as well.

5 weeks went by, and i finally picked up my gun today. i was a little upset to find that the gun came back to me more broken then when i dropped it off to him.

the problem with the gun now is that the slide is stuck open. when i drop the slide, it slides forward 1/4 of an inch and is stuck.
does anyone know how to deal with this problem?
he also did not put the spring back in at all...

by the way, the slide was working fine when i dropped it off to him, it would slide back no problem (all that was needed was to put the cylinder spring back in)..i probably could have figured it out myself but i figured that he could have done it in 5 seconds..

could someone please help?

thanks

Jeez hope you didn't pay him to #*?! your gun up! If you live in the area you could drop it off to me, I deal G&G and KJW guns. I'm sure whatever he did isn't to difficult to undo. If not, go back to him and demand something be done about his horrible smithing skills and that he gets a thesaurus and re-learns the definition of "Fixing" lol
Hope you get what you need.
Also wanted to add, a leaky mag is usually a simple fix. In most cases you just need to get some silicon gel for the orings they may have dried up. If there is a crack in the casing then you would have to replace or weld it shut. The best way to find the leak is to dunk it in warm water and search for bubbles.
