Precocking/winding mosfet /w triple burst
Hey, I was wondering if anybody has made a mosfet with one or both of these things? I plan to start a project like this in the near future, and I'm wondering if anybody has any tips.

I don't understand why you want to precock your spring?
Research the ASCU. It has the 3 round burst and lipo/lifepo protection. Actually it'll prevent any battery from over discharging. No "precocking/winding" required because it's designed to spin up and stop your motor instantly. It makes power usage very efficient while giving you an incredible 3mm trigger pull and response. I'll tell you the same thing I tell people I show my MP5 to. With a 9.9 life po battery, I can get off the 3 round burst as fast as I use to get a single round off with the stock trigger system and 9.6v NiMH. This is mostly due to the long trigger pull and the need to release the trigger completely to reset it for the next trigger pull. |

plow through the stuff on airsoftmechanics.com...precocking has been hashed out a couple of times there.
As far as I know there are three main ways of doing bursts: - mechanical counter w/o MOSFET (like cogs on a clock sort of thing)...fragile and prone to breaking - timed...DonP (Can producer)/Gandalf's (inventor/designer) Triggermaster series...the IC learns how fast your gun shoots, and powers the motor accordingly - mechanical actuator w/ MOSFET...ASCU's mosfet counting system is mechanically actuated by the cut-off lever None of that addresses pre-cocking...just bursts. Coach's ASCU setup is very responsive. It's getting very close to a SYstemA's PTW response without having to run silly batteries or gear ratios in an AEG. Once you get up to that kind of trigger response level I notice that a lot of guys stay off of full auto and simply "tap out" bursts using semi. The sound of his mechbox is an embarassement though...squeals like a cat being dragged or a bed of rusty nails. Last edited by m102404; September 9th, 2010 at 14:00.. |

yeah yeah, I'm lazy so it's the old high torque modify modular gear set is still in that box. though it's partially due to the JG high speed motor. eventually I might put regular gears in, or I'll see if the new modular kits are less noisy.

Thanks guys This seems like a pretty good "conversation" about it. There seems to be some heated discussion about backspin without the arl. Are these exaggerated or is it a real problem? http://forums.airsoftmechanics.com/i...?topic=2021.30 Last edited by krap101; September 11th, 2010 at 14:38.. |

There is a new product in this website www.aegwizard.com
The product does not need you to rewire your trigger and motor to get the 3 round burst computer controlled MOSFET device. |
