You'll be fine. Throw the sight into your luggage (not carry on) and wear the vest. I wear a tactical vest everywhere I go, and I get lots of comments. All good. Plus I look real badass and nobody screws with me, LOL.

Yes I do. A black tactical vest. Over top of my regular street clothes. Pockets full of pens, gloves, sunglasses, flashlight, keys, tools, money, snacks, all kinds of shit.
Just last night a dude in NoFrills stopped me and we got to talking about airsoft and I intro'd him to the site. This morning two guys at the lumber store asked me where I got it, and if I had any bullet holes in it; I said, "Yup, right here" pointing to a chunk of the zipper that got knocked out in a GBB duel once. |

Ive flown from Winnipeg to Calgary with my guns and gear before, and honestly, they were so focused on my gun case they pretty much forgot about everything else i was bringing back. Including a box of M4 mags. Security is hit or miss in what they will be anal about. Most of the screeners either don't care, or have no idea whether to say something or not.

Scopes can go in carry on as well. You might have them stop to look at it but as per the SOP its not a non-permitted item, so they will let it through. Although this is Canada specific, I don't know if its the same for Chinese airport security.
As for whether customs will care that you're bringing it through, just remember to declare it and you'll be fine. |

Yes I bought and brought mine from the Philippines. There was no problem or whatsoever. I took Japan Airlines and Air Canada

Jealous?
Being a renovation contractor I can get away with it. Like who in their right fashion-sense mind would walk around in no shirt and overalls? But Mike Holmes does it. So I do my own thing. Get used to it. Being a short and goofy guy, I needed something to make the guys on the jobsite respect me more. I'd say it works. |

Irrelevant. This man wears a tac-vest to work, and has become my hero.
