Yes and no. It has to be a rifle that is designed, adapted or modified to serve as a precision rifle.
A sniper could use a shotgun and it would not be a sniper rifle.

maybe. what can i say? i had just come off a 14hr shift from hell at that point. point remains the same though. its not the main concern of the course.
