HELP - new spring compressed 15mm overnight???
I fitted a systema M130 to my ICS L85 yesterday. (before anyone asks - It's converted to a single shot DMR hence the high spring rates)
Before I fitted it I checked the length of the new spring against the ICS M120 that I took out and they were exactly the same length. Both were 170mm approx. I fired a few shots on semi only (about 10) to make sure all was well. Today, I removed the new spring and it is 15mm shorter than it was when new yesterday. It measures at just over 155mm. Is this normal? |

Systema Springs dont seem to retain their shape very well. Ive had 390 fps guns drop to 280 in a matter of weeks.
I recommend switching to Modify Springs, they seem to retain their shape much better.

Yep, Ive just been reading a few topics suggesting you guys are not impressed with Systema.
I don't know if I can get a Modify spring in the UK - need to do a bit of research! |

Systema used to be really good when they were manufactured in japan. Now its manufactured in china, and their materials/quality has degraded significantly.
