Looking for opinions, G23f w/tight bore barrel and silencer.
Hello.
I've been thinking about putting together upgraded CQB full auto capable pistol. So far I have KSC Glock 23f with 49rd mag. Now I want to add extended tight bore barrel and a silencer to cover it. If there is anyone on ASC who already attempted something similar I would like to hear your opinion in regards to parts I need to get in order to put this thing together. I want to know what's optimal brand name/length of a tight bore, same thing goes to silencer. Looked though WGC, there is some much stuff on there, don't want to get stuck with something useless. Thank you.

You better try finding a threaded barrel for your Glock 23F as I do not think anyone makes one for it. Otherwise, the longest tightbore you would be able to fit into your Glock 23F without modification would be a KSC STI 5.5 Tightbore.

Is there a big differnce between 18c and 23f barrels? I found threaded 18c barrel on WGC.

http://www.ksc-guns.co.jp/p_manager/...isp_goods=A180 They're completely different. But, that's not to say the barrel won't work 100%.

The barrel mounting mechanism is exactly the same and will fit perfectly (18C vs 23F). Just that the inner barrel will stick out a tiny bit (just a couple mm, so suppressor isn't required). The o-ring will also not be usable. You will need to find some way to secure the inner barrel inside the outer barrel. I use electrical tape.
