unfortunately the only way to check the contacts is to open up the mechbox.
It's easy to open up and inspect, but if you're not comfortable with it, you can take it to your local gundoc to get that inspected. Only takes 5 minutes to tear down an M4 |

Thanks the consensus seems to be a trigger problem, i'm going to try the only gun doctor I know, then maybe go fishing on the gun doctor list

IS there an easy way to check if the motor is faulty?
|

At 11ohms you are catching the impedence of the motor. I've never tested the impedence on a motor as small as that but you shouln't be reading zero on an AR (Aug contacts are a little different so it's normal)
Un plug the motor and check the resistance at its poles to see the impedence. also redo the first resistance test you did but with the motor leads together (you should read 0 there). If not, then there's your problem. |

When I connected the motor leads, the resistance thru trigger was .4 ohms. The impedence of the motor is hard to get a reading on~ 2.6 to 12 ohms

.4ohms is just dirty trigger contacts, the varying impedence though sounds like a problem with the motor coil. Probably faulty, try with another motor.
