KSC G17 problem
I have a KSC G17 and have had it for a few years. I've noticed recently that when I fire the gun, the slide will move forward just a hair further than normal. I took the mag out and pull the slide back to see if there was some reason. When returning the slide forward, the whole thing came off. Is there something that is worn down I need to replace?
Love this thing as a sidearm and hate having it sit on the bench.

Maybe the disassembly latch has been worn or is out of its little groove.

Yeah, take the slide appart and look toward the place where the recoil spring sits, or the recoil spring's end plate to see if it's worn down.

Took it apart last night and it has worn down. Used a plastic welder to build up some material and shaped it to match. put a mag in to test fire today and problem is solved. Even without a mag, the slide catches properly and doesn't fly off across the floor. Thanks for the help.
