the difference between 40mm grenade types?
Hi everyone,
I was just wondering what are the differences between 40mm types (not name brands) like this one and ones like this I have one right now that is similar to the first one shown. But the BBs roll out a little bit, I have read up a little bit about that and seen people say good ones will have a better 0-ring or something to keep them put. I ask because I wouldnt mind buying replacement plugs for the bottom ones shown, but I dont know if those types of grenades are even any good, or better than the top ones. (sorry if thats a little confusing)

The first two are airsoft specific. Take 6mm BB's that are loaded into tubes. BB's typically shoot straight and spreads out less. Better for longer range.
The second two are designed more so for paintballs but work for airsoft. Pour BB's in, and plug the top with a tissue wad or spend money on the plastic caps they sell. BB's usually spread wide and give and nice cloud of BB's for CQB/room clearing. Go with madbull high power CO2 nades or go home! |
