Maybe I'm off by a bit(could be like 507 or something), but I was just on the phone with them the other day. edit: everything I wrote was taken from 2 sources: a local retailer and the RCMP.

From what I remember, a CBSA Agent told me that it had to fire above 407 FPS and below 500.
366 is way to low. If the minimum was 366, 380 FPS stock guns like KWA's SR12 could get in easily. I think it's 407; Also, since the rule was designed as a loophole for Olympic Shooters with Airguns, I stand firm by that measure. 783 is way to high, as well. It's just an unnecessarily high FPS, even for airguns.

I believe the 407 relates to a higher weight BB. For .20 its 366. Anyway, I'm just repeating what I took down in terms of notes while I was on the phone.
This explain what you're talking about: http://www.greyops.net/2012/02/feder...a-airsoft.html see: #3,4 & 5.

I apologize in advance if this question seems redundant. I've read the faqs and RCMP stipulations for replica ownership/transfer but i just need some clear cut answers if there are any, from guys in the world of airsoft. |
