M4 electric problem.

Hi guys, this my friend's SRC M4 has a problem and I said I'd help him out but I'm stumped. Help would be greatly appreciated.

When I plug in a fully charged battery, switch the gun to safe/full auto and pull the trigger, nothing happens. Also, I noticed the trigger pull is a lot smoother than usual.

I've checked over the battery, charger, fuse, motor, and connections going from the wiring to the motor and those are all fine.

Is it worth taking down the gearbox to look for the problem, or could it be something else?

sounds like he either broke his trigger switch, or the post behind it that limits the travel
