G36 mid cap question. G&P vs MAG

Was looking to order some mid caps for a ARES/umarex G36KV

would anyone have any input on G&P vs MAG brand mid caps. or any other brand.

Some discussion about G36 magazines, and also magazine pouches. Hope that will help.

dietcoke's got a JG, ares are sometimes finicky with mag choice, as I understand it, a lot of them just fall out because the magwell seems to be just a bit larger than the TM spec ones. I will note though that magpul g36 pmags fit without falling out... I've had a couple guys with ares guns try it.

It's not because of the size of the magwell its because of the angle of the clip that holds it in. I had that problem with a double drum mag on my CA, I filed it to change the angle and it fits fine now.

I will second the Magpul g36 pmags fitting perfectly( I use them on both my ares g36k and g36c)

Mag band mags don't seem to fit all that well ( my guns have issues retaining them)

Though the tm bullet low caps fit pretty well aswell.
