Electric Blow-back pistols?
I've seen on US/International sites such are Red wolf these "Electric Blow back pistols", and they seem very affordable pistols. (in the 50 USD range!) speficly they were Tokyo Marui guns that would take 3-4 AA battries.
But I have not been able to find any Canadian retailer who imports these Airsoft guns! They seemed like pretty good cheap alternatives to the traditional GBB pistols, and was hopeing to get one to round out my kit. Is there some reason why these EBB-pistols are so hard to find? Does Canadian Airsoft laws make them harder to import? Or are then just garbage/not worth the time? Anyone how could shed light on this for me, I would appreciate it. |

AEP (fixed slide, and use a different design than EBB) should be better than EBB, but I haven't had the chance to try a AEP yet.

before I discovered real airsoft I had an EBB pistol. My brother would shoot it at me from 20 feet away and I could easily matrix dodge each shot. They are useless, a good springer is more capable.

Thanks for the heads up!
I just want a side arm that's not going to brake the bank yah know? To round out my kit. It's the reason I was trying to advoid the GBB pistols. I will look into AEP's. If someone could point me in the direction of some decent side arms for the airsofter on a budget I would appecete it. And of course Canadian retailers who carry such side arms. =P (Like. If it's $300-$400 forget it. I'd rather just get a 2nd AEG at that point. lol I was realy hopeing for something under the $100 mark, but I guess that was to much wishful thinking.) edit: Found a canadian retailer selling a bunch of the CYMA AEPs. I'm going to start researching these guns right away! Thanks for the help! Last edited by Lockark; December 10th, 2012 at 00:29.. |

Hope the AEP will serve you better. If you get A'V'ed, there is a retailer in the retailer section doing AEPs, as a side arm in the winter.

Aeps will still be out preformed by gbbs but they are leaps and bounds above ebbs and springers.
