G&G AKMS + Red Dot - Possible?

Title says it all, is it possible to mount a red dot scope to a G&G AKMS? Suggestions?

you just need to mount a side mount to attach the rails

or just get a railed handguard for the rifle

Just installing a side optic plate isn't enough. The rail would interfere with collasping the under folding stock.

The eulsive AKMSN had a pretty unique optic rail.

Other than that Railed hand guard, RIS rear sight or railed or over the dust over rail system.
