Problem with RS TYPE 97
Hi guys, My type 97 have multiple problems.
Trigger Jams randomly, pull the trigger the gun won't fire. Fire selector is very loose, it also jams sometimes when try to switch to SAFE. The Magazine catch is also having problem lock the mags. update: So I took the gun apart tighten the screw of the fire selector, then I put them back carefully. When I connect the battery to the gun, the gun fired (without trigger pull)full auto on semi mode for about a second then drop dead, now no matter what i do the gun is in silence, pull the trigger or pull the trigger bar the gun won't fire......when I reconnect the battery there is a tiny spark coming out of the wire located right side of the gearbox above the fire selector. I didn't smell anything burning but the gun is totally dead now, anyone got any ideas? Last edited by LIL'WEI; July 8th, 2013 at 23:11.. Reason: problem update |

check these 3 places and make sure that the trigger is connected to the trigger bar properly, the fire select you might have to tighten and this may be your issue with the trigger, and i have the same problem with mags. i just add electrical tape and jam'em in.
