Alright for you lazy guys out there, modify smooth gearsets, dont use them in with the spetre, they dont engage the digital cut off lever

the housing which holds the the Smooth Gearset elevates the gearset just enough for it not to engage the electronic cut off switch, this problem can be overcome by shimming the mosfet by 0.3mm ( inside a modifiy gearbox ). HOWEVER this solution will only cause another problem, you must now add mass to the selector plate until it can engage those little switchs its really dumb

OOORRR wire this mosfet unit by the fuse or battery outside the gearbox? You don't need any really big wire to get the signal from the trigger to the mosfet, so rewiring from the mosfet out to the motor and back to the battery is fairly simple. I even customized my gun to have a magazine check safety!

a pico fet is a basic fet. It has no features other than being a fet unit. You can't compare a pico fet to the functionality of a chimera or any other computerized fet unit.

A more "efficient" approach would be to unsolder the cut-off switch, place a shim under it to raise it (plastic) and then resolder it in place.

You would need to be able to do such small solering job.

Except that's not cost efficient to buy a new set of gears when you already have one...
