so it's either an air nozzle to hop chamber leak, or it's in the mechbox
Did you install the spring with the tightly coiled end on the spring guide?

gonna guess around 400fps, but what brand?
M120's generally range from 400-430fps

google says above 400ish somewhere
When you compression test the mechbox, are you doing it with the air nozzle in the forward position?

YES
I've seen very consistent 40fps losses just from a bad air nozzle before

Try a different piston head. I find gearbox compression tests not too revealing about what FPS you can attain with the spring. With a Modify S100 spring, I would get 330 fps with a Lonex POM piston head, 360 fps with a KA aluminum piston head and 395 FPS with a Modify piston head. When I tested for compression they all felt the same.

^YEAH like wtf right?
The worst was the STAR M4, but that was a nozzle to hop problem. Their hop chamber is locked into their mechbox shell, but it's locked in slightly too far away from the hop chamber so there's a constant 90fps loss lol
