KWC C02 Desert Eagle FPS downgrade?
Is there a way to downgrade the FPS on a KWC C02 Desert Eagle?
I've seen the Dan Wesson revolver downgrade and wanted to know if there was something like that for the Deagle? Currently it is shooting 403 - 414 FPS I'd like to get it down under 350 if possible. If not then under 400 would be good. Thanks

While this isn't exactly what you asked for, this should achieve the same effect: there are propane mags for the KWC desert eagle which will probably take the FPS down to your desired range.

Yah, I was wanting to stay away from propane mags. Everything else I have runs on C02 cartridges. I currently have 1 standard mag and 3 extended ones. Don't really want to buy new ones.
I may try this trick : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qWz9YatD1n0 See if that will work.

Can't fix my own guns. Willing to fix yours.

im not familiar with the KWC DE but if you can take the nozzle out, and get the rocket valve out, you should be able to partially obstruct it to reduce the FPS of the gun, using JBweld, acrylic or anything like that really I figure I've saved atleast $300 on NPASs using this method to get my GBBR collection all down to gameable speeds |

Use a heavier bb and turn you're hop up, up a bit causing the Fps to drop with a .20g bb's

Found a cheaper way to do it than buying new mags.

There's a few ways to drop the fps of a gas gun. 1. You can mod the mags valve. 2. You can mod the rocket valve. 3. You can use npas if that's available for the gun. 4. You can mod the air nozzle by drilling a hole in it. 5. You can weaken the hammer spring. The easiest is drilling a hole in the nozzle. I've done this before on a KWC co2 1911 and had it firing 310 fps on a .2 (the limit for Northern Ireland is 328). This required drilling two holes. You should be able to get the Degal firing around 350 fps with a minimum of fuss. The best option is weakening the hammer spring. But this requires patience and the ability to do so. Good luck in whatever you choose. |

Thanks, I missed the propane part. I want to continue using CO2 capsules - I shoot in my basement.

Everyone is staying out of stock on this part. Dang. And I can't seem to find many sellers that have green gas mags for the DE. The ones I did find are out of stock as well.
I really don't want to dick around in either of my DE's but may have to to get them under the field limits.
