Wondering if I can use an mk46 lower on an M249 and vice versa

I bought a chainsaw kit for mk46 by mistake i have an m249

Shouldn't be an issue. I use to have an M249 and it had bits and pieces from a MK46 and a Para on it (both A&K and CA parts) and aside maybe from some filling for the retaining pin hole when I put on the para stock on it, it fit together fine.
The only other issue you might encounter is with the forward grip. It looks like it clamps onto the rails for the MK46 version so you might need to put on an RIS on your M249. Last edited by Kutter; June 27th, 2016 at 14:49.. |
