Lower Receiver Buffer Extension Question
I have a C-Tac lower receiver, with a very short buffer tube extension.
It causes a big problem of finding a proper buffer tube that fits. Anyone else with this issue and how did you solve it? Photo as an example Are there specific parts or stock combo that solves this issue? I have a large full stock and it defeats the purpose of my CQB build. I am open to running a tanker style stock and I am rear wired.

I think buffer tube for AEG receiver with long "tail" will fit receiver with short "tail" with no problem, as long as you have a right length centre bolt for it?

Shouldn't be any issue, the buffer tube is screwed into the gearbox.

If the buffer tube bolts through the receiver into the spring guide, then the majority of common buffer tubes will fit.
The old receivers with long protrusions are for full stocks, and some had to be cut down to fit buffer tubes. |

you are totally fine, in an AEG buffer tube is actually screwed to the gearbox, it does not depend on the "tail" part.
