Battery in RIS

Hey guys,
My friend is purchasing an R4, and I know it comes with ready mag system, where u can place a battery in the empty magazne..but how big of a battery can he fit in that mag? He wants a large battery of 3000 mah...and he wants to know if he can place the large battery somewhere else in the rifle besides the mag. Who sells large batteries that can fit in the ris,if possible ?

Thanks
Marc

Maybe he meant the G&G R4?
The M4A1 RIS with the ready mag battery system.

A 9.6v 1700mah designed mainly for the ready mag will fit perfectly in there, that's what I had from UNCompany on my previous M4.

I believe that GP has a 10.8v one. Look it up at UNCompany or WGC for the ready mag battery.

I'd just go for the 9.6v... it's a smarter thing to do.

G&G has a 12v 1700mah that fits in the readymag system. I don't think anyone makes batteries that fit inside the RIS.

I modified a TM RIS a few years back to fit a 9.6V 2100mah NiMH AA cells. Worked pretty good, only issue is most AA cells don't have a good discharge rate and internal resistance so the only range of springs you can use are M85's to M100's.
