Last I checked, yes. But I may be wrong on that one.

They dont have many restrictions on their use and display apart from common-sense (dont take it out in the street), but since they can be used illegally just the same as other replicas (or airsoft), they probably go under the same rules.

Not true.. Dewats are replicas... according to the CCC You can keep what you have.. but you can't buy them. (or sell them) They are prohibited devices.

It looks like a firearm ( exactly because it used to be one ) but it is not = Replica = prohibited device.

They used to be treated in a different manner.. but since the revamping of the definition of what is a firearm.. de-activated firearms now fall within the definition of replicas.
