Full Auto- MOST OF THE TIME in Semi auto...

I recently purchased two NEW CA MP5's from A&A. The problem I am having is that when the fire selector switch is in the semi-auto mode...it fires bursts of full auto ??? I have the MP5 A2 & A3 and both have the exact same problem!!! I am only using one & it seems to be getting worse the more I use it !!! Any suggestions ???? Oh yeah, the trigger when pulled fast will fire a single shot...sometimes !!

? selector plate
? trigger internals?

possible cause.. excess shimming on the bottom part of the sector gear.. or... the cut of lever broke..

also... if you lose the small spring of the selector plate.

How are you pulling the trigger on that gun in semi. Becuase I noticed that with my UTG MP5 it likes to make burst/full auto if i hold it in the half pull posistion while in semi auto. I also have a feeling it may be due to your battery. When I switched to a 7.2V the problem stopped but when I was using a 8.4 it was happening a lot

The mechbox has not been opened or touched! I'm using a 9.6v battery but why would this cause it to misfire? My systema mechbox does not do this !!!!

Defective selector plates!!!!

I purchased new CA MP5 selector plates from XT in Winnipeg & installed myself!

Misfiring in semi-auto has is now gone!

Installed a Hurricane 120 upgrade kit!
I'm using a 11.1 v Lipo battery from my RC planes & it ROCKS!!!!
