totaly new to airsoft, im just wondering about making some mods to the gun im getting

hey guys, im in the market for somthing other than my canadian tire guns, i want somthing thats gonna las me without breaking down by itself(im easy on my stuff so i probably wont be the one to kill it) so i was thinking a tm gun. most likly an m4 cuz thats all i really need.
i want a gun with ris mounts so i was thinking the m4-s system, but then i got thinking, what if i went with the
m4a1 ris and just got a metal body with an ris mount.
so my question is, can i, and how do i install this:

The TM M4S needs either special metal bodies or a conversion kit to fit properly, whereas a M4 RIS doesn't.

If you buy from the states or abroad, you'll get buttsexed by the CSBA, so get age verified and buy local...
