1911 experts! Please help!
Alright. As some of you know, I'm no stranger to the WA 1911/2011 series. So, let me tell ya right off the bat, this ain't an easy fix... Please don't post if you're new to 1911s, or have never held a WA.
Okay, well, I recently acquired a 1911 gov't model, SCW3 (great little pistol btw). Problem is, she got fubar within an hour (possibly sear or disconnecter) . She refuses to cock when racked back. And seldom cocks manually. I tore her down, and found NOTHING. Everything was degreased, and regreased. Put back together again, and continued to malfunction! It appears that she's even lost her abilities to half-cock... If you know what's going on, let me know. THANKS! |

There's a considerable collection of WA1911 troubleshooting threads over at Arnies' tech section. I'd give it a search.

BAM! FIXED!
Problem was with the leaf spring. Apparently I was too excessive while performing the trig.job. Moral of the story.... DON'T touch the leaf spring unless you REALLY have to. |
