STAR L85A2 - Don't fire in single shot !
Yesterday, my beauty got a issue. It only shoots in full auto.
Don't shoot anymore in single shot. Don't really know the mecanism inside the STAR L85A2. Does anyone got this problem too ? The selector switch in R and A shoot in full auto. Don't have any single shot. The release spring mode is working too... and shooting too ! What's wrong ?!? |

If you want to fix the problem...yes.
Not that hard, just a couple pins that hold the mechbox in place

If it's the cut off lever... do you know a place to get this thing ? Cause It may be hard to find...
All right, now it's time to find the schematics... do you know what kind of mechbox is this ? Last edited by Xenos-Fear; February 21st, 2008 at 21:08.. |

Oh we do hate you, just never felt like wasting the time to give you a user title :P

If it fires in full auto and not semi i seen a thread where someone has one like that and it ran fine on a regular mini batt but the stock batt sucks but Im not sure how that would effect it, just what I heard.
Good luck. EDIT sorry it was an Army L85 a clone of the star I think.

Found the problem. A bb was stuck inside the body. It fells where the cut off lever move up and down for single or auto. Dunno how in hell it goes there... but now, it's finally done. Working again !
BTW, there's a lot a screws on that AEG ! DAMN ! |
