Half of the dboys bodies that I've installed had gaps between the upper and the lower receivers. There was just too much play at the rear of the upper where it indexed on the lower. The other half was fine and the last Dark Earth one (the non-black ones seem to be better) locked up beautifully. Hit and miss.
Plastic M4 bodies (i.e. TM) and KWA M4A1 bodies use a 2 piece hopup. The lower half is attached/screwed into the lower receiver and the upper half is attached to the barrel. On every DBoys/Guarder/CA/Hurricane/G&P body that I've come across so far, they take a one piece hopup. Do yourself a favour and get a quality metal one piece unit. The plastic ones are cheaper but they flex. All but one Dboys one piece metal hopup that I've seen so far has been complete shit. G&P hopup units are nice, KA Enhanced units are really nice but once you clip the barrel in it's a royal bitch to get off again (but that's a good thing if you never intend of taking the barrel off). |

yep hes right hes knows his shit too but i found systema has no feeding problems with d boys so thats the one id suggest and yes the painted ones dark eath and the tan ones have a snugger fit.

You generally have to use a one piece hopup for an aftermarket metal body since they just have an empty space, not a lower hopup mount. CA's have the mount even thought they're metal, or at least some CA's do. You have to use a two piece hopup with a plastic body because it has the mount there. Otherwise you have to do some modification to the body to remove it if you want to use a one piece.
